Board meetings on the second floor, State President meetings just after… a very busy time for us while we are there. One of the most enjoyable elements of the convention is listening to the Mother of the Year and Young Mother speeches.
Betsy with Sunny Welch. Sunny is the National Chairperson for Mother's Against Abuse. This is one of Betsy's favorite programs to support. She distributes booklets entitled "In Control" (for boys), and "Be Strong) for girls.

We walked from the Waldorf Astoria to the Empire State Building. Upon viewing New York from the top of the Empire State Building we rented a limousine to take us around town.
The limo drove us all around Manhattan including a drive to Central Park.
